$3.00
This is a 19-problem worksheet on 4 pages (2 sheets, front and back sides). These multistep problems involve multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, exponents, and the use of square roots. Students should have a grasp of basic algebra and know the order of operations. They will solve for gravitational potential energy, mass, height, velocity, and kinetic energy.
Description
This is a 19-problem worksheet on 4 pages (2 sheets, front and back sides). These multistep problems involve multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, exponents, and the use of square roots. Students should have a grasp of basic algebra and know the order of operations. They will solve for gravitational potential energy, mass, height, velocity, and kinetic energy. They will use each equation below to solve about 3 problems.
They will use the following equations in this worksheet:
I use this with my Conceptual Physics class. I generally go over each type of problem on the board first, making sure they copy it down as an example, just so they can have a model to go by. It generally takes them an entire class to finish, about 50 minutes or so. The ones that finish first get the privilege of helping other in class get it done correctly.
This worksheet is good for conceptual physics, regular physics, physical science, or general science.
word problems, algebra, kinetic energy, gravitational potential energy, gravity, height, mass, joules of energy, equations, physics word problems, conceptual physics, general science, high school, middle school
